Maximum effect:
- No gaps: our cassette frame ensures there are no gaps around the edges where insects could potentially get in, unlike ineffective chains and curtains.
- More durable: our roller tube holds the insect screen fabric in an enclosed housing keeping it clean and protecting it from the premature weathering and accidental damage common to fixed-mesh screens.
- Always taut: our spring lock adjuster stops the screen from being over pulled so the mesh remains taut and ensures no insects can get through.
- Smooth action: spring tension adjuster increases or decreases the recoil rate so that it retracts smoothly into the housing.
- Discreet: manufactured in white uPVC to match your existing frames for a smart, discrete look. Mesh retracts out of sight when not in use.
Minimum effort:
- No cutting: our screens are made to measure for you so there is no tricky cutting or sawing involved.
- Easy assembly: our screens come in just four pieces which simply click together meaning you don't have to be a DIY expert to fit this product.
- No screws: sticks to your existing frame using super strong foam tape so there's no drilling required and no permanent alterations to your frames.
- Fit and forget: once fitted, your screen stays in place all year round so it’s always there when you need it.
DIY fly screens are also suitable for a variety of commercial applications including restaurants, canteens, cafés, snack bars, hotels, pubs, residential homes, schools, nurseries and home businesses. Visit our fly screens for business page for more information.

Fantastic but becomes invisible
Just completed my 3rd door screen. I can honestly say that these are fantastic. We have one mounted internally on French doors and one mounted externally over a single width door. We can have both doors wide open from early morning to late evening and no flies during the day and no midges/mosquitos or moths in the evening when the lights are on. Super easy to fit and no issues so far after 2 years on my first order. However, the fly screen material is standard from top to bottom and after a short while you forget it’s there and you can’t see it so it’s very easy to walk into it. I really like the ‘clean’ look of the fly screen itself but now I think that if it were an option then I’d go for one with a pattern. Something simple just to remind you that it’s pulled shut. We’ve got a couple of bits of ribbon safety pinned to ours now. Otherwise. ACE product.

A great solution
I recently decided to change the flyscreen on our motorhome. It was seriously difficult as the bodywork inside doesn't easily allow for it. I used the DIY flyscreen because it was light enough and allowed for some modification around the lock. After I built up the frame of the motorhome door with 2" x 1" timber, the flyscreen fitted perfectly and looks great. It took me several days to do the modifications but the DIY flyscreen was the easiest part, it took only a few minutes. I look forward to summer.
